For more than 25 years, Wickedfood Cooking School has specialised in corporate team building through hands-on cooking experiences.
We don’t offer competitive activities or forced icebreakers.
We create shared experiences around food — because cooking together is one of the most natural ways for people to connect.

A Morning at Wickedfood Earth Farm
Most corporate team-building events at Wickedfood Earth Country Cooking School take place in the morning and unfold at an easy, unhurried pace.
Teams arrive at our farm in the Magalies Valley, settle in with coffee, and move into a hands-on cooking experience in our purpose-built teaching kitchen. Everyone participates, regardless of skill level. There is no pressure, no competition, and no one is pushed outside their comfort zone.
The experience ends as it should — with the team sitting down together to enjoy the meal they have created.
From City Cooking School to Sustainable Earth Farm
Wickedfood began in 2001 as a hands-on cooking school in the city. As our understanding of food, sustainability and human connection deepened, so did our approach to team building.
That journey led us out of the city and onto the land.
Today, Wickedfood Earth Farm is a sustainable working farm, located just 70km from Johannesburg, near Magaliesburg and Hartbeespoort. The shift in environment alone changes group dynamics — slowing the pace, encouraging openness and allowing teams to engage more meaningfully.
Designed for Teaching, Built for Teams
Having built six cooking schools from scratch, Wickedfood is one of the few cooking schools in South Africa designed entirely around teaching and group interaction.
Our state-of-the-art teaching kitchen incorporates everything we’ve learned over 25 years about what works in a collaborative environment. Corporate groups enjoy exclusive use of the venue and the full attention of our trained team.
Our Food Philosophy
Wickedfood Earth Farm is an accredited Slow Food Farm and a proud member of the Slow Food Chefs’ Alliance.
We believe in food that is good, clean and fair using seasonal produce from our farm and surrounding small-scale producers. This philosophy adds depth and meaning to every corporate experience — grounding it in values that resonate strongly with modern organisations..

All our corporate events are hands-on, inclusive and non-threatening. They are designed to encourage collaboration, conversation and shared achievement.
Focus on Sustainable Food Cooking Workshop
A deeper exploration of seasonal, locally produced food. This experience includes a guided walk through the gardens, tastings of farm products, and the collaborative creation of a multi-course meal using ingredients from the farm and nearby producers.
- Groups: 8–40 participants;
- Duration: ±6 hours, includes farm tour, cooking workshop and;
- Ends with a shared meal prepared together.

Foods of the World
A relaxed half-day cooking experience exploring global cuisines — from Italian and French country cooking to Thai, Indian, Lebanese and African flavours, and many more. With over 200 programme variations, each event becomes its own culinary journey.

- Duration: 4 to 5 hours;
- From R990 per person (minimum charge for 8),

Budget Team Cooking Experiences
Designed for larger groups or tighter budgets without compromising the experience. Teams cook a delicious three-course meal together in a relaxed, well-structured format.
- Groups: from a minimum 15 up to 60 participants;
- Duration: 3 to 4 hours;
- Menu: starter, main with 2 sides and a dessert.
- Starting at R750pp from 15 to 30 participants, with a minimum charge of R12 750 for up to 15 cooks, to R595 for 46 to 60 participants;
- Halaal-friendly options available.
